Furnaces heat air and blower fans then push the air through your home via a system of ducts. Today’s furnaces include adjustable speed capabilities, durable heat exchangers, microprocessor-based controls, and high-pressure flame-retention burners. All factors are designed to improve efficiency, while keeping your home warm and comfortable.
Accurate HVAC & Electric Top Quality Models
Accurate HVAC & Electric offers a great selection of oil and gas furnaces, and our knowledgeable technicians will help you choose the right model and furnace for your home. We carry a wide selection of forced air heating systems from major brand manufacturers, including:
Gas Furnace
Gas furnaces have numerous benefits and are the most common type found in homes. This type of furnace is pretty inexpensive to maintain because it usually does not break down. Gas furnaces run on natural gas which is the cleanest fuel to burn. These furnaces are also highly efficient which can cut down your monthly heating bills.
Electric Furnace
An electric furnace does not require a gas line, and most people today use electricity. These furnaces are typically less expensive than other types, and newer models are more efficient than they used to be. An electric furnace is easy to maintain, and there are no toxic fumes or carbon monoxide leaks to worry about.
Oil Furnace
Oil furnaces provide a lot of heat and produce more BTUs than other furnaces. This type of furnace is usually easy to maintain, but you will need to work with an oil delivery company.
Oil furnaces can be more costly due to the soot and dirt buildup. The oil filters must be changed regularly and the chimney needs to be cleaned. These furnaces could cost less than gas furnaces, but the fuel costs more, and they are less efficient.
Propane Furnace
Propane furnaces are becoming more popular because they can be used practically anywhere and do not require gas lines. This type of furnace does generally need more maintenance than others and must be filled regularly.
Propane furnaces are adaptable and can adjust to burn natural gas instead of propane if needed. Propane is hotter than other fuels once burned, which can heat up a home very quickly.
Annual checks are recommended to ensure there are no problems or leaks, and that it’s working properly and meeting safety standards.
